Standard life which is a part of the Phoenix Group is a nightmare to communicate with.Today I spent over 2 hours waiting for my call to be answered. I made 3 calls each unanswered running into 40 minutes each + -.I then made a 4th call purely on the basis that it was a free phone number, anyway after only a further 20 additional minutes my call was answered only to be told after i posed my questions to be put on further hold.As mentioned they are a nightmare,,,,, if I were you find another pension provider, however arguably they may well be as incompetent.I was actually in a call with them whilst the line was closed their end, they did ring me back though, but failed entirely to answer my questions.I have 2 other pensions with Aviva and they are by far far superior.Had an email from them,,,,same old same old. Thank goodness though I’m no longer apart of their business.
