We had a very disappointing experience with this firm while they were supposed to be handling our lease extension.From the start, it felt like they lacked the necessary knowledge and experience. Rather than proactively managing the process, they repeatedly asked us to gather information that a competent solicitor should normally obtain themselves. It often felt like we were doing the legwork while paying them to represent us.Communication was also extremely poor. Emails we sent were clearly not read properly, as we were asked the same questions multiple times despite already providing the information. This caused unnecessary delays and frustration throughout.The reception staff were also rude and unhelpful on several occasions, which made dealing with the firm even more unpleasant.Eventually, due to the lack of progress and confidence in their ability to handle the matter, we decided to cease instructing them. Despite the fact that no meaningful work had been completed, they attempted to bill us for the exact amount remaining from our initial deposit. We had to send a firm and assertive email before they finally returned our deposit.Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
