I recently had a really bad experience with Stark Uberoi and their conveyancing services. My file was clearly mismanaged, and communication only improved after I filed a formal complaint with the firm. Before that, my emails went unanswered for days, and it was impossible to reach anyone by phone. The receptionist was also unhelpful and at times quite rude — despite calling many times, I was never transferred to my solicitor once. According to the receptionist, my solicitor was always in meetings. How can a client feel reassured when no one will speak to them?They missed my completion date and decided to reopen compliance checks after they had already received my funds into their client account — and even after the agreed completion date. Surely this is not the correct procedure?To their credit, the team did eventually pull it together in the final week, and we managed to complete within my deadline — but that really doesn’t make up for all the unnecessary stress, confusion, and delays leading up to it.Stark Uberoi has glowing reviews online, but this was not my experience. I would not recommend their services.
