Starter School has been a valuable addition to my 8th grader’s homeschool curriculum. My student has always been interested in technology, so I was excited to find a program like Starter School.From a parent’s perspective, I especially appreciate how the program teaches responsibility and accountability. I also really enjoy the “office” interface and the expectation for my student to maintain consistent office hours—it gives the experience a real-world structure. Another highlight is that help is almost always available when my student gets stuck or frustrated with a step in an assignment, which helps keep him motivated and on track.My student would probably say the best part is getting paid for his hard work!One area I’d love to see improved is communication with parents. More regular updates or insights into student progress would help us stay better informed and engaged. I’d also love to see more resources or options for Chromebook users.
