Your assessment of May 3, 2025 Astro Day is not great everywhere. Bunch of us went out last night May 2 2025 and the viewing was terrible. Skies were clear...no wind...no obstructions...365° unobstructed view. Waxing crescent was SO bright it washed out the west....aurora washed out the north....motion sensor lights at skate park (not your fault) washed out the south. Real viewing never really started til 2-2:30 am. You should be upfront about the "other" reasons viewing could be crappy. You give people hope LOL LOL
