I've had the awful experience with Status. I booked an appointment on 21/12/2022 between 8-12 to fix the warm air heating. I took the unpaid half day off from work. I phoned to Status a few times and they confirmed that the engineer would arrive until 12 pm. After 11.15 pm I phoned again and have been told that I need to pay in advance. Otherwise, the engineer wouldn't come. But why they booked the appointment without the advance payment? Why they didn't inform me about that in advance? When only half an hour left prior my working shift Status said that I must pay before the engineer's visit. Why they lied that the engineer was coming to me when he didn't? It's absolutely shocking experience. Shame on Status.
