Contacted Stebbings Car Centre over the phone to arrive viewing of potential new to me car. The car is electric. Made them aware that I will be travelling from the other side of the Island(over 200miles), asking them for the car to be fully charged, just in case if I buy it and also I will pay for the charging anyways. After the test drive decided to purchase this vehicle of them and what a surprise! The car is charged in less than 30%!(85 miles of range).When we came to the transaction they obviously wanted to sell some extras which increased the price of the car, so because I was buying the car for cash it exceeded my available founds by less than 10% of the car value. And what a surprise! THEY DONT USE CREDIT CARDS!Both, the sales person and the manager apologised, but they were unable to help me and we were left in confusion. THERE'S NO I FORMATION ABOUT IT ON THEIR WEBSITE .Both , the manager and the sales person were tending to cancel the sale due to late time (Friday 4pm) and were not helpful at all, looking at the watch frequently giving g me the sign they want me to go.Horrendous.
