I used Steve AI with the Generative AI Plan ($129).The platform has potential — it can generate videos, visuals, and voices quickly — but overall my experience was very frustrating and disappointing for a service at this price.1️⃣ Voice Limits Not Mentioned AnywhereThere is no clear information in the Terms & Conditions, in the dashboard, or in the pricing plans about any Generative AI Voice Limit.You only discover it when a pop-up appears asking you to “Contact the Sales Team”, which leads to a form requesting your company name and project purpose — clearly a sales tactic.When I contacted them, their own message said:“The Voiceover limit is just a security measure we have introduced. We will enable higher limits on account level and please do not worry on this.”They re-enabled my voice credits twice — the first time quickly, the second time after more than 24 hours — but this “security limit” is not transparent at all and creates unnecessary downtime.2️⃣ Loss of Work after Dashboard AccessI reported a problem where the audio tracks kept shifting every time I downloaded my project.Support asked for permission to access my dashboard to fix it. I agreed — but instead, they re-generated my entire video, erasing more than two full days of work (over 16 hours).I even had a video call showing them the exact file I wanted restored. They promised to fix it, but nothing was recovered.I had to redo everything from zero, which is unacceptable for a professional tool.3️⃣ Generative AI Seconds Lost and Never ReturnedI also lost more than half of my Generative AI video seconds because of system bugs (the “script keep looping” issue).I contacted support multiple times over three weeks; they told me twice, even three times, that my credits would be refunded, and many times "The Team is taking care of it !"They never were.They only added a few generative image credits — about 200 — ridiculous credits when you know the cost of 7 min. generative AI seconds lots !!! It was not a real compensation from a company of this size.4️⃣ Orthographic Errors in Generated ImagesThe image generator often produces spelling mistakes or incorrect text, forcing me to regenerate the same visual again and again until the orthography is correct — wasting both time and credits.5️⃣ Confusing Plan ExpirationWhen my plan ended, I discovered that “until October 8 at midnight” actually meant the start of October 8, not the end.This wording is misleading — most users would assume the plan is valid through the full day of the 8th until 23:59.This kind of tricky formulation feels purely commercial and leaves a very bad impression.6️⃣ Lack of Transparency about Company Location and SupportThe official address listed on Google Maps shows San Francisco CA, but all communication I had was with support staff based in India.I have nothing against Indian teams — they were polite and responsive — but it shows that the company outsources everything, while charging U.S. prices ( like Animaker same business) and offering no refund policy.This lack of clarity about operations and responsibility is concerning.💬 SummarySteve AI has impressive potential — the concept, visuals, and AI voices can be very good —but the platform suffers from too many bugs, unclear policies, and a lack of reliability and transparency.Short uses (one month) = Lot of Pb (one month)In short:❌ Hidden voice limits and confusing pop-ups❌ Lost projects after support access❌ Generative seconds never refunded❌ Frequent spelling mistakes in images❌ Misleading plan-end wording❌ No refund policy, unclear company structure💸 Too expensive ($129) for such instabilityI truly hope the company improves, because the idea is great —but as of now, Steve AI is not reliable or transparent enough for professional use.
