Easy to contact customer service. However delivery eta 11.50 to 13.50. Phoned told driver stuck on M25.Eventually the chippings arrived at 16.45. Traffic wasn't bad been to Chelsea area you are last drop off The depot is in Croydon. Nowhere near M25.Not impressed as had Men on site waiting to do the job.
I spent quite some time reviewing various suppliers of stone and slate on the internet before ordering from Stone & Surfaces Direct. I live in Rugby so I thought that the delivery surcharge of £30 (+VAT) was very reasonable considering I had ordered two bulk bags of green slate weighing in at 1800 kg. Communication from them was excellent and the order was delivered at the time promised. Delivered on time slot advised, very helpful driver, put load where needed on sturdy ground, also quality of gravel really good, clean gravel, bag as described and filled to top, will buy again if any more aggregates needed, very good pricing on what I bought as shopped around.
