I am a current customer

I am a current customer. I paid two months in April 2023. In May I began receiving emails stating they would force place insurance $16/mo on my unit if I did not provide proof of insurance. I sent proof of insurance that shows my homeowners coverage. I called to confirm receipt and spoke to a gentleman. He confirmed receipt and said I was ok and that my homeowners insurance clearly covers my items and that he would not force place insurance on my account. I logged into my account today to make June's payment to find out they forced placed insurance on my unit anyway. Despite having proof that I have homeowners insurance. I called to complain and the lady that answered the phone said she checked with her manager and that I need to submit a declaration page. I told her I already submitted the declaration page. She responds, I see that you have insurance with State Farm and that your items are covered out of state and that you are covered. But it does not say declaration page. I explained to her that that was the declaration page and to explain to me what information is she looking for on the declaration page. She could not explain but did say, I see you are covered but we need your declaration page. I told her clearly I need to speak to management and asked to do so. She placed me on hold and said her manger was too busy and could not speak to me. I told her I felt they are unethical and are charging me for services that I do not need because I already have insurance. What is a customer to do? I am being bullied into paying $16/mo for something that I am already paying for under my homeowners insurance. I tried calling their headquarters in Florida but no one answers. They just direct you back to the facility you are doing business with. There is obviously no oversight. Customer complaints will go no further than Trust Pilot.
