I deliberated for a while over buying a particular bag for a milestone birthday trip next month and was kicking myself when it went out of stock. I set an alert through the website and purchased it as soon as I saw it was back. Unfortunately, I then got an email telling me that the bag wasn’t actually in stock and shouldn’t have been sold. I was offered free cancellation (or a choice of another colour) but I feel quite disappointed with the whole experience. Given it was an error on Stow’s part and I had paid for a bag that wasn’t in stock I feel like a bit more could have been done to make up for this - offering to put me on a waitlist for when the bag comes back or contact me directly once it’s in stock again (given I’m wary of trusting the website now) would have been really appreciated.
