I liked the process and convenience of booking a taxi soon as you walk out the arrivals gate however, I was told to wait on the side until the taxi arrived.I waited a few a few minutes before an Asian guy turned up and approached me. He asked my name which I replied to.There another Asian lady stood behind me. This guy asked her the same question. I asked whether he is taking both of us he, he replied “yes”and took the lady and her both suitcases towards the taxi. I waited thinking he will come back to help me. After a few minutes, he came and said that he was waiting for me to make my way out. I was very surprised as he did not offer the same level of service to me as he did for the other customer although he spoke to me first. Eventually, he took the trolley with my suitcase after saying he was not the driver. I was surprised and appalled after paying £17:00 to go less than 5 minutes drive to my home and the poor customer service with double standards.I hope Street Cars acknowledge the need to learn a lesson from this situation so it does not repeat itself.If you are provide a service, the standards must be consistent and fair to all customers.
