I was a tenant with *Streets Ahead* for three years, and throughout that entire period, not a single issue we raised at the property was properly resolved. The level of service we received was consistently poor, and communication was often dismissive and unhelpful.
After vacating the property, matters became even more concerning. Our deposit was withheld based on what I strongly believe to be an inaccurate and unjustified report. When I provided clear evidence of the property’s condition at the start of the tenancy, the response from the agency stopped entirely.
It has now been four months since we left the property, and despite repeated requests, there has been no resolution or meaningful update regarding the return of our deposit.
I am particularly disappointed with the conduct of Denim Islam, who I understand to be the branch manager. I was initially told that I was not eligible for the deposit due to the condition of the property. However, once I submitted evidence contradicting this claim, communication ceased, and the matter has since been ignored.
Overall, this experience reflects extremely poorly on the agency’s handling of end-of-tenancy matters. The staff appear untrained in properly assessing property reports, and the level of professionalism and customer service has been unacceptable. Calls are rarely answered, and when they are, responsibility is repeatedly deflected with no accountability.
This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not expect this level of service from a letting agency of this size.
