I don’t normally do reviews but thought it would be appropriate to do one in this instance for Struan’s Dundee (Used Cars).We had been looking for a small car for my mother and spotted a nice i10 Hyundai online at Struan’s (via Autotrader) and spoke with their sales team, in particular Graham.He was very helpful in providing information on the vehicle, providing extra videos and also clarifying further the history of the car.We purchased the vehicle (as a distance sale without seeing the vehicle) and unfortunately we the car arrived we noted there was a dent in the driver door, which after careful review by a local body shop, actually demarcated quite extensive damage rather than a simple dent.I spoke with Graham and also Scott, his manager. Both were incredibly helpful and apologetic and with no quibbles arranged for the damage to be repaired in full (costs of which were not inexpensive). This was all done very efficiently.I therefore would strongly recommend Struan’s in regard to their after sales support; I think a reflection of a business is not how they manage when things go right but how they sort things when they go wrong.

Since we started over 40 years ago Struan Motors have grown from humble beginnings to become one of the most popular places for people in Tayside, and much further afield, to choose to purchase their new car.
Although Struan Motors now offer a choice of 3 new car franchises, a large stock of used cars, a fast-fit centre, vehicle rental and a full after-sales service, it was not always like that
Struan Robertson, as a time served mechanic with an excellent reputation first branched out on his own in 1974 with a small holding at Kinfauns just outside Perth, where he specialised in the servicing and repair of Volkswagens.
However, as his reputation spread, it soon became clear that the business needed to expand in order to meet customer demand and so his brother John joined him as they moved into larger premises in South William Street in Perth in 1977.
Struan Motors popularity flourished, helped by the convenience of this new city centre location, and soon adjacent property was taken over to help cope with demand and allow for the arrival of the Mazda franchise which was awarded way back in 1981, making Struans one of the longest established Mazda dealers in Scotland!
The next big step was when, due to their growing reputation for customer service, Toyota chose Struans to represent them in Perth, which once again required more room, and a showroom in nearby Victoria Street was created.
Some of these city centre properties still bear the Struan name to this day as they are where our tyres and all-makes servicing branch is based.
Our landmark Struans Motor Village in Crieff Road, Perth first started off in 1987 when our Toyota showroom moved there, to what had been a greenfield site.
Ever since then there has been continual development with the opening of our Peugeot showroom in 1989, and our new Mazda showroom in 1995. The site has also seen a large and spacious used car display area created, with a large customer car parking area rarely seen at dealerships with landscaping to give a relaxed atmosphere..
Over the years Struans had developed a loyal customer base from all over the country, but particularly in Dundee. This led us develop a prominent site which we initially used as a Toyota dealership and is now a used car specialist Autocentre dealing with all makes of vehicles.
