I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from Student Cribs based on my experience.I lived in one of their properties with three other young women, and throughout our tenancy we experienced repeated breaches of privacy, safety, and quiet enjoyment. Contractors and staff entered the flat without proper notice, sometimes while none of us were home. On multiple occasions, workers used our bathroom and kitchen appliances, and work was carried out while the property was left unlocked, including during a weekend when we were away.There was constant construction noise, dust, and disruption over an extended period. Windows were incomplete for months, the living room TV was broken for over a month, and we were not informed that replacement windows would be non-opening fire windows.We raised these concerns multiple times over the course of our tenancy, both directly and through the maintenance reporting portal. Many issues went unaddressed for months, with little to no communication or follow-up. Problems would be marked as reported but not resolved, leaving us living with broken or incomplete facilities for extended periods. This ongoing lack of response made it feel as though our concerns were consistently overlooked or deprioritised.Hygiene and safety were also serious issues, with bathrooms left unsanitary and even blood found in shared living spaces, which was extremely distressing and made us feel unsafe in our own home.If you value privacy, safety, timely maintenance, and clear communication, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
