WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

I did a next day click and collect at my local Superdrug. I ordered items on the Saturday, but as per their terms and conditions I would have been able to collect on Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon the goods hadn’t arrived. I rang on Wednesday and they still hadn’t arrived. On Thursday I went to the store around 9:45am to ask where my delivery was. The first girl I spoke to didn’t have a clue about anything (not sure if she knew what day of the week it was) Another girl came up and said Next day delivery is when the courier has the parcel not when you place the order, it’s not the shops fault that the delivery hasn’t arrived it’s down to the courier (Evri), I said well can you find out if it’s going to be today and she had the cheek to say it’s not there problem and it was down to me to find out where the delivery Is. I said that my contract is with Superdrug not the courier and they should be the ones trying to find out where my delivery was. She said like I said that’s down to you (me) to find out where it was. What a load of rubbish she was saying. I said that’s not what it says in the terms and conditions. She just shrugged her shoulders and started to walk away.I said if the goods don’t arrive today I want a refund and left the shop to go to a cafe for coffee. Dead on 10am I received a text message to say my goods were ready to collect from the store. I said to my husband I’ll just nip to collect and come back for my coffee. 10:02am as I walked into Superdrug I received another message to say as I haven’t collected my items they have refunded my card. The same two girls were there and the one who said about not being their fault earlier was standing there with a stupid grin on her face. I said what’s going on and she said I cancelled your order I asked why and she said because i wanted a refund. I said IF IT DIDNT ARRIVE TODAY.. she said well I’ve cancelled it now with the same stupid grin on her face.She then had the cheek and great delight to say, by the way it will take 3-5 working days to get your money back. I said you’re something else really..I spoke to online customer service about the rudeness of the store staff and they said the reason it was cancelled was because the package was damaged . I said that’s a bare faced lie as I saw the box with my name on and it was perfect. The assistant just didn’t want me to have it and they were rude and obnoxious. They said they will look into it. I said after being a loyal customer of Superdrug for many years and the fact you get told to support your local stores I will never step foot in any of their stores or shop online ever again. My local store has more staff than customers, there’s hardly any customers in that store How it stays open is anyone’s guess, I can only imagine the disrespectful staff have a lot to do with it. They have no respect for customers and they think it’s beneath them to actually be helpful.SHAME ON YOU SUPERDRUG“What’s the saying, You pay peanuts you get monkeys”
