As an artist involved with a civic creative nonprofit for over 32 years, I have earned my living through regional art sales and creative contracts. The desire to expand my reach to a more diverse, global audience stemmed from my contemporary abstract drawing practice, especially since there’s limited local interest. After taking a basic course with a certain academy, I became curious about the advanced course. Now, as I complete the advanced course, I’m pleased to say it has paid for itself, having sold two $800 drawings online.
