Bought on the Thursday, two 300g bags of biltong, before the next day shipping deadline. One was wet fatty, the other one, wet and normal, as I had bought two weeks previously in your Tunbridge Wells shop,(fresh from the shop was brilliant). Hence why I decided to buy some more, but unable to get to T.W.Anyway, got the shipping details, looked on the DHL website, nothing! No tracking.Imagine my panic, where is my expected biltong. I emailed your customer support, and received a reply back that, it would not be arriving on the Friday, as it should have, but the next day, the Saturday, because there was a delay processing the orders.My gripe is,twofold, 1. Why did you not write to me saying , Sorry dear customer, there is a slight delay in the shipping process, please accept our apologies as we know you are expecting it to arrive fresh today. Easy, I think and, we can then plan for someone to wait in the next day to meet the DHL driver.Why was it that I had to contact you?Think you guys can do better.I ordered wet, and fatty, from the shop it was fantastic, by post neither wet or fatty. Is this because it was processed earlier?I will continue to buy your biltong, because I have found it to be the taste that I remember from my time in South Africa.But can we do better next time please.
