We’ve been with Syllabi for just over a year now for GCSE Maths, Science and English, and I can honestly say it’s been amazing for my daughter. She started off working at a grade 3 and she’s now consistently at a strong grade 8. The change in her confidence has been incredible. She actually believes she can do well now, which has been so reassuring for us at home.There are a few things that really stand out. The teachers are genuinely brilliant at explaining things in a way she actually understands. She always says the lessons make things “click” for her. She absolutely loves the Science classes especially. They cover full topics in an hour and somehow everything stays in her head. It never feels rushed and she always finishes the lesson feeling confident.I also like how organised everything is. The weekly assessments are always based on whatever was taught that week, so I can clearly see how she’s doing without constantly checking in. It’s made keeping track of her progress so much easier.Another thing I appreciate is the consistency. Lessons start on time, the structure is always the same and the teaching quality has never slipped. Even though it’s online, it still feels personal. She never feels overlooked or lost. She actually feels supported and that’s something I didn’t expect from group lessons.They’re also very quick to reply whenever I message them and they’ve been flexible with her availability. It genuinely feels like they want to work around the students instead of the other way around.And honestly, for the price, it’s been such good value. You don’t usually expect this level of teaching and consistency to be this affordable. It’s one of the main reasons we’ve stayed so long.Overall, Syllabi has taken so much stress out of GCSEs for us. My daughter is confident, prepared and actually motivated. We’re really grateful for the support and I’d happily recommend them to other parents.
