The day went well, well organised and well led. The pupils really enjoyed the experience.The prior organisation was understandably rushed, however there was no indication that other schools had been contacted, indeed none were at the venue we as hosts were left with a week to go to see if we could garner support. Aa result the competition element felt a little flat, local schools were denied the opportunity to take part, which meant the overall objective of the day was missed - IET promoting Engineering to a young audience.
