I have just returned to the UK after having a hip replacement. I contacted Tailor. Doc with a general enquiry with regards to the surgery, Carlos contacted me the next day and gave me detailed information about the procedure, this was put in follow up e-mail. He did not pester me with an answer and left me to decide, this was different from other companies who were rather pushy.On arrival in Valencia Carlos took me to the hospital, the first day was pre-op checks also a meeting with Dr Corbí. The surgery was carried out the following day, both Dr Corbí and all the staff at the hospital were excellent, I encountered no issues with language difficulties. Two days after the operation I was taken to the hotel in Denia. The hotel is very good, nice big rooms and excellent food. On the Monday the rehabilitation started, all the staff who carry out the rehab were fantastic. The rehab included one hour in the gym then one hour on the physio table. After a couple of days, I was easily walking with one crutch. After the 12 days in the hotel I was taken to Alicante airport, on the advice of Carlos I booked assisted travel, this is highly recommended.I know it can be difficult when deciding to go abroad but I have no hesitation recommending Tailor Doc. I had my staples removed in the UK as my scar was not ready when I went to the hospital in Denia, the nurse could not believe how well I was walking after only 3 weeks, also how small my scar was, this is down to the service I received by the staff of Tailor Doc.
