Their network is probably fine if you only access websites within South Africa, but if you try to access web sites in somewhere like the United States, the bandwidth is terrible. I can run a speed test to servers in Cape Town, and I get 10-15 MEGAbits per second, but if I run a speed test to a server in New York, I get 15-35 KILLO bits per second. If I do this during the middle of the night, I get good download speeds, but as soon as daylight rolls around, and people start using the system, the throughput goes to hell. Clearly they are oversubscribed on their international links.Forget trying to stream a movie or download a large file during normal hours. I've had to resort to using my cell phone as a hot spot, and that gets expensive.
