I had to cancel a physician appointment in the last minute due to an acute illness. I tried doing this over the phone line, yet I could not get through. So I used the company app instead. It turns out that, if you become ill in the last minute, you can always reschedule the appointment without additional charge, yet if you cancel it, they send you the bill for the missed appointment. I proceeded with cancelling because this information about the consequences of cancelling vs rescheduling are not visible to the customer in the app, when you actually do the cancellation. Currently, Terveystalo is trying to charge me for the missed appointment. I have filed a complaint about this bill, based on lacking information about cancellation policy in the app and no access to their regulation phone line.
