We’ve had a really good experience with Test Teach and I’d genuinely recommend them.The monthly tests were probably the biggest help. It just gets the children used to the pace and the exam setup, so it doesn’t feel like a massive shock later on. They also share the results across the year group in an anonymised way, which I actually like because you can get a feel for how your child is doing compared to others without it feeling uncomfortable.Classes are small and there are always teaching assistants around, which makes a difference. They’re friendly and easy to talk to, always willing to help - I’ve found it great being able to grab a quick chat before or after class if I’ve had a question.It’s also nice that a lot of the assistants went to grammar schools themselves, so they know what the 11+ is really like and what kids tend to struggle with.Price-wise, it’s been pretty reasonable compared to some of the other options near us. We’ve had two children go through Test Teach and both got into our first-choice grammar school, so we’re really happy we went with them.
