I rarely write reviews, but in this case, it's worth sharing my thoughts on this really fun app called, Text Studio.I found it on Canva. After seeing what it can do, I went to its web page, and was blown away!As a designer, I love typography, and seeing the amount of presets available in Text Studio is overwhelming. The only app that comes close to it in my mind with presets is Kittl. If you enjoy designing with type, I highly recommend doing the yearly plan.The yearly plan eliminates the ads that show up everywhere on the free plan website. (and DO NOT CLICK on the add extension buttons ads!!!) Once you subscribe, you will never see those annoying ads again! You will be able to use your subscription through Canva, but you’ll probably want to stay on Text Studio’s web page for full access to the app.Something that always bugs me with type add-on presets on other sites is the way they are sold with those interesting backgrounds that are never available. With Text Studio, they are available through their design studio app! Nowhere is it really promoted but there seems to be an endless selection graphic images in the app, many of which are editable.For what I do which is mostly KDP, t-shirt designs and stickers, this app is easily going to become one of my main go to apps. If Canva wasn’t now tied to the “free” Infinity design suite of apps, I’d probably let that subscription go.The only things I found lacking in Text Studio was that I couldn’t find any Steampunk graphics, though they have a nice selection of Black letter fonts. And I wouldn’t mind seeing some film noir fonts and graphics (like those 1930s movie titles). That said, they have a ton of everything else. I highly recommend Text Studio.Not to go on and on, but I forgot to mention, they also have simple animated presets too!
