I have been entering both paid and free entries for a long time and have found recently that the time given for the majority of low odd comps do not allow time for Postal entries. I have tried a number of times, going down to the main post office to get the next collection but my post cards haven't been entered. I enquired at the Post Office how much it would be to have my postcard guaranteed next delivery but it is over £8. Not really a free entry. If there is not enough time to get a postcard in (should be about a week) there should be another way to enter free or a gambling license applied for. The majority of competitions won't have free entries as they are less than the price of a stamp so it is only the higher price comps that would be affected by giving a reasonable time to enter.
