Lovely place great staff but a couple of little niggles unfortunately, there’s a lovely open fire but think the chimney must need cleaning as the whole place smelt of smoke & it wasn’t all going up the chimney but into the dining area as well, we would of preferred not to smell of smoke when we left.No plain potatoes on the menu, fancied a Sunday lunch but the potatoes had garlic rub, decided on pie & mash but the mash had spring onions in it, so not good for people who can’t have onions & garlic, surprisingly no plain option available.
