I have been a member since shortly after enduring a protracted and stressful car breakdown, far from home, on a bank holiday, outside Inverness with young family. Since joining we have added various insurance services with the AA as their professionalism and and reliability were demonstrated over the years. I appreciate the convenience of a trusted, brokerage service doing reliable comparative work and saving me time and worry, plus repeatedly getting me and my family out of tight spots with cars regularly enough to justify the cost.
Getting through on the phone to make adjustments or amendments can be a hassle as the popularity of the service puts it in high demand, but that aside there is little else to detract from the AA experience.

Everything. Coldest day of the year. Called for help before 12 from Lismore. Last notification on app 2.30ish saying they'll be out. Phoned again after 3.30, was told firstly I'd cancelled the call-out (not true), then other excuses callously delivered.
A great experience from the minute I called the rescue team to the minute the car was collected. Every person I dealt with was both friendly and professional. Efficient service carried out by capable people. 5/5 stars!
The representative failed to pay attention to our concerns, requiring us to restate our request FOUR times. It was clear they were following a script and seemed rushed, making their communication nearly impossible to understand.
