Please take my advice and book with a real nail tech. It’s been a year since my course and I still have 0 confidence. I’m still having to book training sessions with different nail techs as this course was so rushed and I felt the trainer wasn’t interested in looking at our practise work at all. We were hurried through our day only for the trainer to say ‘well guys it looks like we’ve finished early’ (the hours were something short anyway like 10-3, so I don’t know why that had to be shortened even further) There was no mention of certain bonding products for the acrylics, I learned that via YouTube. No talk of thickness. No cuticle care. She kept telling us to patt the acrylic down so hard making the finish all lumpy- I’ve not seen this done so aggressively on YouTube’s or any nail salons? Waste of money tbh because now I have to pay for other courses. I was also annoyed because the day after I booked, I rang to say I accidentally chose the option that doesn’t include electric file training, can I swap to it? And they said no you’ll have to buy that separately- which of course was way more expensive on its own instead of the package. (Pretty sure Im legally allowed to change my mind the day after paying- don’t know why I didn’t argue it) The acrylic brushes they ask you to practise with looked so cheap. Honestly I didn’t learn anything new
