Franconia used to be called the ‘Harrods of Wimbledon Village’. That was many years ago. So imagine how delighted I was to re- discover them as an online offering under the title The Bread Queen. This really is royalty in terms of baking. Delicious and I mean really delicious sourdough bread, biscuits and buns. Easy to follow instructions are included as to how to freeze or bake and trust me it tasted so good even after being frozen. Delighted that the Bread Queen behind the original Franconia has re taken her place as a true champion of high quality produce. Well done! As a certain actor said“I’ll be back”………..
