My lovely Taiwanese wife is amazing in so many ways but one thing she’s not is patient with my TONES when speaking Mandarin. We would argue all the time and after a while I would just stop trying to speak mandarin all together. Sandy is the best, the reviews don’t lie, I read them all! She is so so patient and just a kind person! Sandy can be tough but she pushes you to be better and I respect that. She really tries to match your energy toward learning which is another plus. Lastly, I was so confident after a year of taking classes with Sandy, as a musician I decided to write my first song in Mandarin. I was also so confident that I changed my Major to Chinese and skipped Chinese 101 and 102 and jumped into Chinese 103 and got an “A’. I’m so stoked and enjoy our sessions together. Lastly, I’m excited for 2026 and the opportunities that will come from learning this amazing language with my tutor by my side. 谢谢你！
