This was a really dissappointing experience. My brother meant to buy me Cook Food vouchers but bought these by mistake so I thought I would give it a go anyway.After logging on I was shocked at how expensive everything is, for 2 meals that feed 2 people each, it came to £63 - arguably more expensive than a takeout.I ordered on a Friday and it arrived the following Tuesday.The instruction kits look beautiful but they are very confusing to actually read, with multiple recipe cards needing to be actioned simalteaneously for one meal - my husband and I both had to do this together. Some ingredients came prepped, some didn't, some said on the label that they were prepped but weren't. Some items on the ingredient list mentioned how they should be prepped, others said nothing at all. The rice demanded to be washed 4 times and left to soak for 20 minutes - I wish I had just cooked it the normal way in my rice cooker - 10 mins and no fuss for the same end result.Instructions were sometimes vague and the amount of washing up left was vast, for one meal we needed 2 frying pans, 2 saucepans, 2 dishes, 2 mixing bowls, a sieve and a blender - and we didn't even bother with the 9 ingredient massala chai that went with it.The meal itself was a let down, having followed all the timings to the letter, parts were underdone making it a 'crunchy' curry in places.We have another meal to cook but honestly I am thinking about just putting it in the bin - it's more trouble than the meals we cook normallyExpensive, Laborious, Confusing & Dissappointing.
