I ordered several Kaiju Series knives and an Acacia Magnetic Knife Block (Order #2143) back in April 2025, expecting delivery in early May. After four separate delays and months of waiting, my order finally arrived in August. The knives themselves? Excellent quality — no complaints there. The service? That’s where things fall apart.Communication on delays was almost non-existent. Out of four delays, I received only one proactive update. At the same time, I was getting daily promotional emails pushing a new knife set (including the serrated slicer I’d asked about as a goodwill replacement).Since my order shipped, my follow-up email about honoring their earlier offer has been completely ignored. It feels like they’ve swept their promises under the rug now that the sale is complete. The Cooking Guild clearly knows how to market, but if they put even half that effort into honest, consistent customer updates — and into following through on the offers they make — they’d have far happier customers.Bottom line:Great products, but be prepared for delays, poor communication, and potentially unfulfilled goodwill promises if your order runs into trouble.
