Consistency and communication

I have ordered from cumin club several times. Recently they added a snack box to their website. I ordered once and thought it was good so I decided to order the family box which had 50 items instead of 20 items. The snack box is shipped from India . When I received the box it had 23 items instead of the promised 50 items. I’ve written several times and the response is always “please be patient, we are checking”. This is not the first time this has happened - recently I placed an order for their food packets, which came up 4 items short. After a lot of back and forth chatting, they told me that 2 of the items( listed on their website) was an item they no longer carried. They did not offer an explanation for the other missing 2 items. They did eventually refund, but did not ask if I wanted a refund or to have the other 2 items reshipped. The cumin club could be a good company but falls short on shipping control, and communication particularly with their company in India . Due to the frustration of always having to count the items, constantly having to chat and email and having to work to get the missing products sent to me, I will be cancelling my subscription. It should not be this hard to get an item shipped correctly.
