After visiting several jewellers in Hatton Garden, Birmingham and other regions in the UK I settled on The Diamond Ring Company to create a custom engagement ring. I settled on them because of how long the staff had been in industry, their evident knowledge, their clear passion for creating pieces of 'art' and their very welcoming, no pressure approach. I worked with Michael to create the piece I was after and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the initial consultation to the delivery of the ring, I can't fault them in anyway. The whole process was seamless, the communication was great and all of the promises Michael made were kept. I shared some ideas and images of inspiration with Michael, and he was able to offer some solid, detailed advice in terms of the pros and cons of designs/ideas I had and improvements that could be made which allowed for a truly great ring to be produced. Michael also sourced a few different diamonds for me as well, so I could compare diamonds with different characteristics to make sure I was completely happy with the centre stone of the ring which was very much appreciated with it being my first time looking at diamonds.
