We've had nothing but an outstanding experience with TFSB! Their bankers are very knowledgable, especially when it comes to VA loans. They're the only shop in the country that has real specialty in VA construction loans, which includes helping get through all of the hurdles associated with these (and if you've ever tried to get a VA construction loan, you'll know how much of a headache it really is, let alone how hard it is to find someone who knows the process in-and-out). Their communication is highly above standard, and they're fast to respond to emails and calls. We had what I'd consider to be a complex mortgage situation, and their team put critical work into making it happen. They also beat traditional average 30yr VA rates at the time we got under contract. TFSB is a really military/veteran friendly bank, and had this not have been our forever home, I'd go with them again for all of our mortgage needs.
