Disappointing Experience with Sizing Issues

I had a mixed and ultimately unsatisfactory experience with the service. While the support team was responsive and courteous, the situation itself shouldn't have needed negotiation. After receiving my order, I measured the items and found that the dimensions did not correspond to those listed on the platform. Unfortunately, the tags had been removed, making it impossible to formally demonstrate the sizing issue. When I tried to return the items, I discovered that all returns had to be sent back to Germany. From the U.S., return shipping would cost over $45 for a 2 lb package — nearly half the value of my order. Although this information is mentioned at the end of their return policy, it’s not something most customers would reasonably anticipate. They ultimately proposed a 40% partial refund if I kept the items, which I accepted. However, since the products were incorrectly sized, the company should have covered return shipping or offered a full refund without placing the burden on me. Expecting customers to bear international shipping costs when the measurements are inaccurate seems problematic at a corporate level. In summary — purchasing apparel or any size-specific items is not advisable. Customers should be aware of the sizing discrepancies and the challenges of international return logistics before making a purchase.
