I am a self taught creative makeup artist who knew how to easily create technical eyeshadow looks and how to do a gorgeous wedding/editorial look. What surprised me is how much I learnt about stage/film makeup and SFX makeup. I learnt so much about that industry, the techniques they use and how to successfully create a look that fits a time period, covers someone in cuts and bruises or makes them age years. I originally did this to gain a qualification and I ended up learning so much more than I thought I ever would.
