I have twin daughters, both 15, who faced challenges transitioning to mainstream secondary education. They stayed in their local school until I withdrew them at the end of Year 10 due to their declining attendance and mental health. Both girls, diagnosed with autism and ADHD, struggled in the traditional setting and eventually burned out. After trying this new educational service in April 2025, we decided to fully enroll them. Since joining, they have attended every lesson, showing engagement and receiving positive feedback from their teachers. They are now preparing for their GCSEs and feel more equipped for the exams. Their mental health has improved significantly, allowing them to learn. Their individual needs are well met, especially their sensory requirements. They conduct lessons in a comfortable environment, free from distractions. The democratic ethos fosters trust and autonomy, and they are thriving.
