Here are the key points of my experience:Unfair Damage Claims: The letting agency, in collaboration with the landlord, has made exaggerated and unfair damage claims against my deposit. Despite maintaining the property in good condition and normal wear and tear expected after three years, I was shocked to see the list of damages they claimed.Delayed Deposit Return: It has been 45 days since the end of my tenancy, and my security deposit is still being held. Repeated inquiries have been met with the excuse that the landlord is still obtaining quotes for maintenance, which I believe to be excessive and unjustified.Poor Communication: The agency's communication throughout this process has been poor. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I have not received a satisfactory explanation or timeline for the return of my deposit.Lack of Professionalism: The handling of my deposit and the exaggerated claims suggest a lack of professionalism and fairness in dealing with tenants.In light of these issues, I strongly advise potential tenants to avoid The Letting Games. Dealing with them has been a stressful and disappointing experience.
