First attempt at the dip powder!The steps are laid out really well. There's a step by step guide (with pictures!) AND each product you use has STEP 1, STEP 2 etc etc etc printed right on them.It started out great. You put on the base coat, dip in the powder. Then another base coat layer, dip in powder again. At this point everything looked gorgeous!Then it got weird, you put on the "activator" coat which essentially bonds the powder to the nail and the base coat, essentially making concrete! This is when you're supposed to file the whole nail and smooth it out since the powder can sit thick in some places. Apparently I didn't wait long enough for it to dry or put on too much activator or something because it was not dry! I started trying to file and it was still tacky, it started dragging the powder (which was now putty-like) all over the place! I couldn't get it to dry!I just put the glossy top coat on and it has an amazing shiny finish and dries super fast!Definitely a learning curve, we're pretty bumpy, but I love the look!!!
