My experience booking with Natural Adventure was very poor. They did not carefully review information that I provided (originally booked the wrong dates) for 5-day trip to Morocco. I also inquired about potential ad-ons to my trip and they were extremely slow in responding (I finally booked with another company for this portion). When I pressed these issues, the team members were rude and treated me like I was a burden to them rather than an important customer. Finally, I was injured on the trip and when the local guide contacted Natural Adventure about making an adjustment to my itinerary, the Natural Adventure representative responded dismissively “no, that is what trip insurance is for” ….I understood the policy, but the rudeness was simply unnecessary especially in light of my medical situation. The only good thing about working with Natural Adventure was that they did partner with an excellent local guide Active Treks). My recommendation-go straight to the local company, Natural Adventure added costs, complications, rudeness and added little value.

The Natural Adventure was founded in the UK in 2009, by Peter Duncan, former UK Chief Scout and BBC Blue Peter presenter, and Alex Pazderski, an avid hiker and expedition kayaker. Both natural adventurers and keen explorers of wild places, remote communities and responsible tourism, they founded the company inspired by the responsible travel values they stand (walk and cycle) by. The company now offers over 700 self-guided and guided adventures in over 50 countries. As well as classics, such as the Camino de Santiago and Tour du Mont Blanc, they offer adventurers many lesser-known destinations, such as Balkans and Bali, Pakistan or Vietnam. See more
