Very unsatisfactory experience with The Nile NZ. I had two books on pre-order, the order was originally placed on 29 August, with the books expected to arrive by the end of September. I wanted one of the books for a birthday gift in November, so felt confident ordering and that I would receive the books in time. On 30 September I hadn't heard from anyone so I emailed to ask whether stock had been received. On 2 October I received an email from Jade saying there was a delay and stock was expected to arrive by 15 October. A 20% discount off my order was offered due to the delay which I accepted. On Monday 20 October I emailed again to ask if stock had been received and also used the live chat function to ask the same. On Tuesday 21 October I received another email fron Nina telling me that the books are being reprinted and now won't be available until January or February 2026, which is too late for me. Not happy that I had to keep chasing to find out what is going on, the constant delays and being generally mucked around. I have asked that the order be cancelled and a full refund given. I have ordered the books from another NZ supplier who have already despatched them to me. I have little confidence in ordering from you in future. A very unsatisfactory experience overall.
