ThePower Business School really does live up to its purpose of democratizing business education. I'm sure like almost every PowerMBA alum, having looked into a number of MBA programs which I discounted on the basis of entry requirements, cost or the practical consideration of how I was going to schedule a busy timetable of lectures whilst I was working, I decided to go for ThePower Business School's PowerMBA. Whilst it's not an accredited MBA program (i.e. recognized by AACSB, AMBA,or EQUIS/EFMD) and therefore doesn't have the cachet of accredited programs, it's much more affordable, it's ultra-flexible (you can study at your own pace and easily fit the ~15 minute learning modules into your daily routine) and more importantly, it covers the same kind of curriculum as a traditional MBA, albeit not to quite the same depth.The program is based around a number of modules on business model innovation, lean startup, business & marketing strategy, entrepreneurship & fundraising, digital marketing, leadership, finance & accounting, and HR & Talent Management, and within each of the modules, there are interviews and case studies with some of the worlds' most recognized and disruptive companies, including Airbnb, BrewDog, GoogleX, N26, Netflix, Rent The Runway, Shazam, Waze, Whole Foods Market etc. I'm a marketing director with over 30 years professional experience, and I learnt an incredible amount from the program, and have been able to put my learnings to use in my work every day. If you are only looking for a traditional MBA from an accredited business school, ThePowerMBA is likely not for you, but for everyone else, it might be what you're looking for.
