The winch I purchased is defective as it will not free spool. The only way to release the cable is to reverse the winch, which is tedious when not pulling a load. The process of getting a refund or a working product has been very time-consuming and is still ongoing. I keep receiving emails asking for various pieces of information, like a photo or a bar code, one after another. We have reached a point where there are no further questions from the seller, and they seem to have gone silent. I don't have much hope for a satisfactory resolution.
