Overall, I had a great trip! Sanjeeta was a fantastic guide and really made the trip special! It felt like I was just touring India with a friend. I thought the itinerary was good, a nice mix of sightseeing and cultural experiences. My only negative feedback would be about the accommodation. I felt that the trip was advertised as having “luxury accommodations”and that the price we paid for the trip reflected the extra cost of staying at nice hotels. Unfortunately, I would only say the 3 of the hotels felt “luxury” and it left me wondering why the price point was so high. The hotel in Delhi was extremely outdated (paint peeling of the walls of the room, stained sheets and towels, and smelt a little moldy) my roomate had stayed there the night before and she was put in a much nicer room. So it was unfortunately very apparent that we had been placed in a basic room and I felt that with what we had payed for the trip, we should have been given the higher quality room. I felt the same about the hotel in jodhpur. The property was nice, but it was super apparent we were in the basic room option. Overall, I would absolutely book with SOFE again, I had a great time, I just wish the hotel rooms reflected the price point more.
