I want to share my honest opinion about TTP.
I have been trading with this prop firm for some time, and until my last withdrawal request, all payments were processed without issue. However, on my most recent withdrawal request, my account CFD 504048464 was frozen and canceled by the risk team because I had used margin above their recommended 40%.
Yes, it’s true that I made a mistake — I used 42.9%, which was my highest margin ever(I forgot that on metals the leverage is 1:10 I calculated the position on Xau as on indices with 1:15)and because of this, my withdrawal was denied and my funded account was canceled.
That said, this is just a recommendation. I followed their guidelines, but I made the error of exceeding it by only 2.9%. I risked a maximum of 1% of my account per trade, I did not overtrade, yet unfortunately, it seems my withdrawal and account are lost.
So, yes — make sure to carefully read all of their recommendations before purchasing a Challenge from this firm.
I have requested a re-evaluation of my trading account from the risk team… I will provide an update once I receive their response.
