Nobody wants to be on a course like this. But it helped that our instructor was clearly committed and genuinely wanted people to slow down in order to save lives. The course was rigorous and strictly run, but you realise during it that speed is a serious matter and by the end, everyone - including me - recognised the importance of making sensible choices on the road, rather than just going along with it as a tick box exercise.
