I placed an order with The Wood Veneer Hub (Order #297507) based on the estimated delivery dates shown at checkout (24–26 January).
The order did not arrive within that timeframe. When I contacted them, I was told the dates were “estimated only” and that they are currently unable to guarantee delivery dates due to high order volumes and warehouse changes.
While I understand that delays can happen, the issue here is transparency. If a company knows it cannot realistically meet stated timeframes or cannot provide reliable delivery estimates, this should be made absolutely clear before customers place an order. Providing delivery dates that customers naturally rely on and then later saying they were not guaranteed feels misleading.
Had I known that delivery timing was effectively uncertain, I would have reconsidered purchasing.
I hope they improve their communication and set clearer expectations for future customers.
