There are so many facets to Slimpod which will appeal to many people. The one thing that really helped me was telling me not to weigh myself. This came as a shock as I have always done that and, if the weight went up, I would go into a bit of a downward spiral and often got disheartened and gave up with the diet. The other thing is that you can do the program at your own pace and are told not to feel guilty if you miss out a day or two. This has really suited me. The calming audio pod player is a wonderful way to get to sleep and does seem to change my thinking about food. I only wish I had done this years ago. Feeling so good about myself and have so much more energy since starting.
